the Schneider brood...

What a better gift for your parents on their anniversary then pictures of all of you and your siblings kiddos, equaling 7 grandchildren, just hanging out and being kids. This is exactly what my high school friend Terri and her siblings decided to do. I must admit attempting to have7 kids, of all ages, look at least once simultaneously at the camera = fun challenge! Not only did all of them sport a simple white and khaki outfit combo, but changed into some UD flyer gear - which I loved! Go Flyers and Go Schneiders!

If you recognize the little red-headed beauty, that is Lilliana, whose 3 month pictures were taken about a month ago . ENJOY!

audra, baby boy, and a beautiful sunset...

Imagine your dream vacation, dream home, dream dinner, dream car.....well, Audra happened to pick my dream location for her maternity shoot. Rugged white barn, farm fencing, tall grass, wild flowers, empty field, beautiful pond, gravel road...and of course a beautiful sunset.

Enjoy the sneak peak of her and her baby boy to be...and thanks to her husband Bob for being such a good sport! I know it was torture :)

adios

well. the adventure has finally arrived. the plane leaves early tomorrow morning. guatemalan orphanages are the destination. its going to be hard not to pack up a few of those children into my suitcase upon return. the canon rebel xs is staying behind - along w/ her 3 lenses and brand new killer 'shootsac wannabe' bag. its all staying here and the point and shoot will be working her magic.

here's to a week of adventure. unknowns. shock. laughing. crying. loving. learning. and friendship making. awesome. absolutely awesome.

play. so many definitions. so may ways. i couldnt resist entering the above photo into this week's challenge sponsored by i heart faces (http://www.iheartfaces.com - check them out!). madison, her dad, a pile of leaves, and her priceless facial expression. to be a little girl again and think whatever jumble of thoughts she must have been thinking. giggles, smiles, and happiness. here's to play - something we all should continue to do, no matter our age, location, job or life. play it up :)

forever i do...jason & stephanie

to capture love on a camera is awesome. last weekend i had the pleasure of doing such for a high school friend (ie. senior year prom date:) ), as he married his soul mate. meet jason & stephanie. their adorable family and friends. their beautiful ceremony. and their unforgettable day. thanks to photographer james bengal, whom i believe could very well be dolce photography's new 'right hand man', as he captured just as many amazing moments.

here's to you jason & stephanie. and for the many years to come!

i heart faces...and i heart feets :)

so...there is this amazing photography blog called i heart faces (http://www.iheartfaces.com) that i have been following for about the past month. every week they have a themed photo competition where anyone can enter photos to be judged. this week happens to be a 'non -competition' week, and the theme is 'barefoot week'! need i say that i love the theme hence my love of being barefoot!?!

so yeah, the challenge this week was inspired by an organization called Soles for Souls ( a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and distributes these shoes free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 7 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes (currently donating one pair every 9 seconds.) The shoes have been distributed to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States. Soles4Souls has been featured in Runner's World, Ladies’ Home Journal, National Geographic’s Green Guide, and The New York Times. It has appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, BBC, CNN and thousands of regional news outlets across North America. )

so check em out! and check out i heart faces when you get a chance! in the meantime..the following is my entry into this week's challenge...and thus my interpretation of what 'barefoot week' means -- and now i believe i must go give myself a pedicure :) xo.
