forever i do...jason & stephanie

to capture love on a camera is awesome. last weekend i had the pleasure of doing such for a high school friend (ie. senior year prom date:) ), as he married his soul mate. meet jason & stephanie. their adorable family and friends. their beautiful ceremony. and their unforgettable day. thanks to photographer james bengal, whom i believe could very well be dolce photography's new 'right hand man', as he captured just as many amazing moments.

i heart faces...and i heart feets :)

so...there is this amazing photography blog called i heart faces (http://www.iheartfaces.com) that i have been following for about the past month. every week they have a themed photo competition where anyone can enter photos to be judged. this week happens to be a 'non -competition' week, and the theme is 'barefoot week'! need i say that i love the theme hence my love of being barefoot!?!

so yeah, the challenge this week was inspired by an organization called Soles for Souls ( a Nashville-based charity that collects shoes from the warehouses of footwear companies and distributes these shoes free of charge to people in need, regardless of race, religion, class, or any other criteria. Since 2005, Soles4Souls has given away over 7 million pairs of new and gently worn shoes (currently donating one pair every 9 seconds.) The shoes have been distributed to people in over 125 countries, including Kenya, Thailand, Nepal and the United States. Soles4Souls has been featured in Runner's World, Ladies’ Home Journal, National Geographic’s Green Guide, and The New York Times. It has appeared on CBS, ABC, NBC, FOX, BBC, CNN and thousands of regional news outlets across North America. )

Meet Max & Henry. Max has 2 legs, Henry has 4 (and a tail). Talk about a totally cute session. Granted the mom of both adorable boys was quite busy on her feet - between cuddling a crying baby and chasing an energetic dog - in the end everyone was happy! Here's to Max & Henry and their friendship!

Saturday 5/15 was a gorgeous day - esp before noon when the sun hit pretty hard. Enjoy these pics of total cuteness. Brother and sister - Jake (who had his 1st birthday party later that day!) and his big sis Alyssa. She is quite the little model, and he is quite the baby boy  - content just to sit and chill :) Talk about some of the most gorgeous little kid models...enjoy!

senior love - cody

Cody - one of my neighbor's brothers - had gotton his senior pics done at a 'big time' photography studio. After paying the initial fee, and then looking at the prices of the actual photos, they decided to have dolce photography do another senior session for him - a little more variety, and a lot less expensive - plus he gets all of his edited pics on a CD and can get them printed as many times and in as many sizes. how can you pass that  up? :) enjoy a sneak peak -- and we havent even done the football shots yet - geeked to take those and get them posted.
